Shallona Shallowe, a Post Graduate student of UTT in collaboration with Randolph Cato, a teacher at Trinity College East, were recipients of a sport award for "Leading School Development Programme" in the sport of Dragon Boat Racing in Trinidad and Tobago at the 2009 First Citizens Sports Foundation Awards function held on Wednesday, 3rd March, 2010 at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Trinidad.
