Here are the results from the Tobago Open Tournament, that our UTT High Performance Table Tennis Athletes took part in last week.

The athletes took part in four categories which were the Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Boys U21 and Girls U21.

In the Men's Category UTT dominated all three top spots with Curtis Humphreys outplaying his team mates to win the coveted title when he defeated Kris Frank in the final. Terrell Abbott played his heart out in the Semifinals losing to Kris Frank.

In the Boys U21, once again our athletes showed that they were really the best but this time Everton Sorzano being the eventual winner in this category where he defeated UTT athlete Yuvraaj Dookram after a hard fought final. Kris Frank placed third in this category.

In the Women's event Astra Edwards placed third after losing to the eventual winner and Kristen Scipio also placed 3rd in the Girl's U21 category.

UTT Coach, Aleena Edwards said she feels extremely proud that these High Performance Athletes continue to do UTT proud as they continue to strive for excellence.
