International Master Prof. Raul Perez of The University of Trinidad and Tobago played simultaneously against 15 players at one time and against a total of 20 players. The players included Dev Soondarsingh and National Female Champion Aditi Soondarsingh from UTT, National Qualifier player Nicholas Chin from COSTAATT, previous National Junior Champion, and UWI Student Marcus Joseph.

The International Master won all his games against the students.This was in response to an invitation from the UWI Chess Club.The Simultaneous Chess was held at UWI on March 19, 2009.
