The First Citizens Sports Foundation recently hosted a workshop dedicated to nutrition and athletic performance at the Ken Galt Hall, Centre of Excellence.
The event featured Professor Michael Gray – author of “Lifetime Fitness”. Topics covered included fuel nutrients, daily energy requirements, pre-game meals and supplements.
The First Citizens Sports Foundation remains committed to ensuring that the athletic community have an understanding of the sport sciences that go into enhancing their performance.
